A society that believes that man is naturally good will ultimately blame others or the environment for the wrongdoings that man commits. It will be a blame-game, self-righteous society. As a result, people look outside and blame others other than self.

While a society that believes in man’s total depravity and evil nature will place accountability upon every individual man, will take responsibility in every action and will put limits, terms, contracts, accounting, auditing and surveillance to ensure moral behavior is observed. As a result, people look inside and seek to improve self.
